The main reason to find out why you want to achieve your goal is so that you don't waste time aiming for a goal that you don't really want. To date a hot woman with the same values as you is a clearer goal then to just date a hot woman. Most of the hot women will not share the same values as you and should you end up dating one of these girls, you will waste a lot of time and in the process you will have a much tougher time managing this relationship.
